DENIM TWIST

The project was inspired by a common problem in jeans manufacturing called “Leg Twist”. Due to the direction of denim weave, bad side seam alignment and over washing, jeans legs twist around themselves.

I loved the idea that denim “spirals” naturally, and I wanted to exaggerate it. Using the “twirl effect” I created a literal twist in classic 5 pocket jeans.
